Outdoor kitchen contractors serving Carmel and Hamilton County

As an outdoor kitchen builder working across Hamilton County since 1993, we have built everything from simple grill islands to full pavilion kitchens with bar seating.

Gas lines, electrical, ventilation, and structural support for stone or masonry facing all have to be sequenced correctly, or you end up with change orders mid-build. We plan every utility before the island is framed.

Layout drives the rest of the design. An outdoor work triangle keeps the grill, prep surface, and cold storage within a few steps of each other, so cooking never turns into laps across the patio. We plan a minimum of eighteen inches of counter on the hot side of the grill and twenty-four on the cold side, and if the island doubles as a bar we add a fifteen-inch overhang and stools sized to your patio depth. Weatherproof cabinets, sealed outlets, and a covered position for the refrigerator all get resolved before framing so the finished kitchen holds up to Indiana summers and winters equally well.

We coordinate a vetted network of specialists, all managed by us, from design through final walkthrough.

What we build

Outdoor kitchen design: layout, appliances, and materials

Every custom outdoor kitchen starts with a question: how do you want to use this space? A built-in grill island for weeknight cooking is a different design than a full entertaining kitchen with bar seating. During our planning phase, we figure out exactly what yours needs to be.

Most popular

Built-in grilling station

The entry point for outdoor cooking, and enough for most families. A quality built-in grill, countertop workspace on both sides, storage below, and a gas line run from the house, faced in stone, brick, or stucco to match your home.

Full outdoor kitchen

Grill, doors and drawers, trash pullout, and a beverage refrigerator, built into a longer island with more prep and storage space.

L-shape entertaining kitchen

The top of the range, with a full appliance package and often a smoker or secondary cooking element, built into an L-shaped island that defines a real outdoor room.

Bar and beverage station

A standalone or connected bar counter with a beverage fridge and ice bin, often paired with one of the cooking configurations above.

A kitchen that anchors a larger built environment, a pavilion, a full countertop run, bar seating, is designed and priced as one project, so the structure, utilities, and finishes are planned together from the start.

What an outdoor kitchen costs

A built-in grill island, a full outdoor kitchen, and an L-shape entertaining kitchen with a full appliance package all price differently, and costs rise if the kitchen anchors a larger structure like a pavilion. Appliance selection and countertop material are the two biggest levers inside any configuration.

Rather than publish a number that has little to do with your project, our paid planning process gives you a budget built for your specific kitchen and site.

Outdoor kitchen questions, answered

  • Outdoor kitchen cost depends on configuration, appliances, countertop material, and whether the kitchen anchors a larger structure like a pavilion. A built-in grilling station and a full L-shape entertaining kitchen sit at very different price points. Our paid planning process gives you a precise budget for your specific kitchen before you commit.
