• No Winter Wimpy

  • WIMP? Not me.  I grill out 12 months a year.  It’s a personal badge of honor and fortitude … probably a merit badge for the Boy Scouts too.burton patio grill 028

The colder and more snow the better.  It forces activity and creates wonderful winter meals with all sorts of tasty root veggies on the grill.  My favorite veggie recipe?  Develop a sealed pouch of aluminum foil filled with carrots, onions, sweet potato chunks, a few new potatoes and a surprise turnip all cut up into similarly sized chunks, lightly dressed in EVOO.  Add fresh ground pepper, sea salt, sprinkle a little balsamic vinegar on top and rotate on the grill for around 20 minutes.  Throw in some of your herbs of choice for extra flavor.  Rosemary and thyme are perfect.  Delicious and easy.  Don’t forget the garlic.  LOTS of garlic.

Our shiny mega-grill is 15’ from the back door and is strategically housed next to a gas fire feature that serves as both inspiration and warmth.

Grill on, grill strong, and … Stay Home. Be Moved.
